The construction of a mix of apartment and housing units to provide a residential social development for Limerick City and County Council. This project was completed using a public works contract designed by the employer, PW-CF1.

Public Realm Works consisted of attractive open spaces comprising hard and soft landscaping, privacy strips to front gardens, rear garden walls, street lighting, 83 no. car parking spaces, play areas, street furniture and adequate refuse disposal facilities.

External Works consisted of the provision of various types of retaining walls and boundary treatments, block subdividing garden walls, roads, paths, pavings and private garden landscaping. A pedestrian and cycle crossing was also installed to the external boundary wall of the site. New public utility services connections and upgrades and diversions of existing where necessary.

As part of the contract, an adjacent natural stone boundary wall, a protected structure, required underpinning, repointing and the stone capping was replaced.
