Construction of a 64 bedroom hotel on the first, second and third floors, including a Kitty O’Sheas public house and retail units at ground floor level. The build included the following:

• In-situ reinforced concrete structure;
• Basement car park below level of water table;
• Flat deck system for internal floors (first time this system was used in Galway City);
• Trocal roofing system;
• Curtain walling at ground level for retail & pub units;
• Brise Soleil to front elevation, reducing solar gain;
• Concrete and steel balconies to rooms facing the seafront;
• Coloured render ‘Monocouche’ external finish;
• Mechanical, electrical & lift installation;
• Fit-out of bar & lounge using crafted timber detailing.
